That's Right - Free Coffee
If someone is thinking about buying beans but has never bought from your store give them (this means FREE) one of your 2 oz. bags to take home and try. Let them know that this will give them an idea of the quality of your product and explain about the selection of your coffees and how freshly-roasted they are. During the conversation ask plenty of questions and show that you are a specialist who wants to make sure you are happy with their purchase. Make sure they leave with your business card and you have their information in your computer.
TAKE IT, REPLACE IT!
If anyone walks in with a competitors cup, TAKE IT and REPLACE IT with a cup of yours.
This simple act will show that you are confident with the quality of your product – giving you a new customer and advocate.
